The Home Furnishings Association is offering International Home Furnishings Representatives Association members free registration to its 2017 Home Furnishings Networking Conference, June 4-6, 2017 in San Antonio when they bring one new retailer to the event. A new retailer is one who has never attended the HFNC or who hasn’t attended since 2013.
This is the second year IHFRA has partnered with HFA to promote the HFNC. HFA and IHFRA recently teamed with Amber Engine on an industry survey, where networking was ranked as the preferred educational method for those surveyed. “Based on the insight we received from this industry survey, networking is obviously important in the industry. We are delighted to have IHFRA sales reps help facilitate industry networking by inviting home furnishing retailers to attend our conference.” said Mary Frye, executive vice president of HFA.
During the HFNC, IHFRA will sponsor two breakout sessions geared towards sales reps. Jesse Akre, chief strategy officer at Amber Engine will present What is Product Data Costing You? and Jacqueline Massey-Hughes, founder of FurnitureTrainer, will present Best Practices for Successful Sales Associate Training. Additionally, there will be an industry panel, Building the Perfect Relationship. What Does the Perfect Supplier-Sales Rep-Retailer Relationship Entail? that will explore the characteristics of a mutually beneficial supply chain relationship.
